Welcome to my garden!

I'm a surface pattern designer, illustrator, and watercolorist playing and working in the U.S. mountain west. Gardening zone 7! I've worked as a graphic designer, illustrator, technical communicator, and some other careers that were either brief and rewarding or too long and unsatisfying.

For the Love of Art

My watercolors have been featured in galleries in several cities. I started painting when I was in my late teens, sitting next to my mom in our dining room/art studio, while she painted in oils.

My Garden

Gardening is a passion—it’s where I gain my inspiration for my surface pattern designs. My garden is evolving; much like my art.

Striving for Sustainability

I started designing patterns after I retired and I continue to perfect my skills in that area. I hand drawn my motifs and also create my own Illustrator brushes that I use in my artwork.

At JeanC Studio, I'm committed to promoting sustainability through my selection of eco-friendly products. My mission is to provide stylish and functional items that not only enhance your lifestyle but also lessen the impact on our environment. My product range includes cotton/hemp market totes, cotton-linen blend pillow covers and recycled paper notebooks, each designed with the dual expressing my creativity and supporting a greener future.

Research indicates that the use of sustainable materials can reduce environmental impact by up to 50%. By choosing my products, you're making a decision that aligns with your values of sustainability and creativity.

My commitment to eco-friendliness extends beyond my products; I support initiatives that lean to environmental conservation. I also strive to educate my customers about the importance of sustainability and the impact of their choices. At JeanC Studio, I'm not just selling products; I want to foster a community that values and prioritizes the health of our planet.
